About Hang it by Dutch
My name is Quint, though here in Florida most people know me as Dutch. My wife and I met in The Netherlands, where our daughter was born. In 2011 we moved our family to Ocala to be closer to family, and after settling here we welcomed our son. I’ve been doing installation and mounting work for many years, ever since I was a kid working alongside my dad back in Holland.
Today, my wife and our two children are my biggest motivation for building a business they can be proud of, one built on honesty, quality, and doing every job the right way.
While my dad taught me the skills and craftsmanship of the trade, it was my mom who taught me perseverance, kindness, and the importance of always doing the right thing. Her love and support helped shape the man I am today, and I’m grateful for everything she sacrificed for our family.
He taught me the value of hard work, precision, and doing things the right way, not the easy way.
My father passed away on May 14, 2023. Toward the end of 2024 my hours at my regular job began slowing down, which gave me time to think about what I really wanted to do moving forward.
In early 2025 I started seriously considering starting my own business. May has always been a meaningful month for me, my birthday is May 5th, and in honor of my dad I officially filed my LLC on May 14, 2025.
That’s how Hang it by Dutch was born, built on passion, pride, the craftsmanship my father taught me, and the values my mother instilled in me throughout my life.
My dad always said: “Build it like it’s for yourself. If you’re not proud of it, take it apart and do it again.”
That’s exactly how I run my business today.
The Story Behind
Hang it by Dutch
More Than Just Mounting TVs
Mounting TVs and working with tools is something I’ve been around most of my life, not just TVs, but all kinds of hands-on work.
I grew up in The Netherlands working alongside my father in construction, where I learned the skills and craftsmanship of the trade. At home, my mom taught me the importance of hard work, perseverance, and treating people the right way. Those lessons continue to guide how I run my business today.
Over the years, I’ve helped friends and family with all kinds of projects, mounting TVs, installing artwork, laying tile floors, remodeling bathrooms and kitchens, always enjoying the process of building, fixing, and improving things.
After moving to Ocala in 2011, I worked as a wine delivery driver for many years. Later, I returned to construction and installation work, bringing me back to the hands-on work I’ve always enjoyed.
When my father passed away and my hours were reduced at my construction job, I knew it was time to take the leap and start my own business.
Hang it by Dutch was built on the craftsmanship my father taught me, the values my mother instilled in me, and the desire to build something my wife and children can be proud of.
Done right. No shortcuts. Just like the Dutch would do.

My father and I in the Netherlands. He’s the one who taught me to take pride in doing the job right.
Built on the Values
I Learned Early
How I Was Taught to Do the Job Right
The way I work today comes from the lessons I learned growing up in The Netherlands. My father taught me the craftsmanship of the trade, while my mother taught me integrity, perseverance, and always doing the right thing. Together, those lessons shaped the standard I bring to every installation.
Clean, Careful Work
Every installation is done with attention to detail and care from start to finish.
No Shortcuts Taken
I believe in doing the job right, not just getting it done fast.
Respect for Your Home
I treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own.
Licensed & Insured
Professional installations done safely and securely for your peace of mind.
Still Doing It
the Right Way

Precision matters. Every installation starts with making sure the foundation is perfectly level before anything goes on the wall.
Hang it by Dutch was built on the same values I learned growing up — pride in the work, respect for every home, and doing the job right.
