About Hang it by Dutch
My name is Quint — though here in Florida most people know me as Dutch. I moved to Ocala in 2011 from The Netherlands to be closer to my family, and I’ve been doing installation and mounting work for many years — ever since I was a kid working alongside my dad back in Holland.
He taught me the value of hard work, precision, and doing things the right way — not the easy way.
My father passed away on May 14, 2023. Toward the end of 2024 my hours at my regular job began slowing down, which gave me time to think about what I really wanted to do moving forward.
In early 2025 I started seriously considering starting my own business. May has always been a meaningful month for me — my birthday is May 5th, and in honor of my dad I officially filed my LLC on May 14, 2025.
That’s how Hang it by Dutch was born — built on passion, pride, and the same old-school craftsmanship my father taught me.
My dad always said: “Build it like it’s for yourself. If you’re not proud of it, take it apart and do it again.”
That’s exactly how I run my business today.

More Than Just Mounting TVs
Mounting TVs and working with tools is something I’ve been around most of my life — not just TVs, but all kinds of hands-on work.
I grew up in the Netherlands working alongside my father in construction, where I learned the value of doing things the right way — taking pride in the work, paying attention to detail, and never cutting corners.
Over the years, I’ve helped friends and family with all kinds of projects — mounting TVs, installing artwork, laying tile floors, remodeling bathrooms and kitchens — always enjoying the process of building, fixing, and improving things.
After moving to Ocala in 2011, I worked as a wine delivery driver for many years. Later, I returned to construction and installation work, bringing me back to the hands-on work I’ve always enjoyed.
When my father passed away and my hours were reduced at my construction job, I knew it was time to take the leap and start my own business.
Hang it by Dutch was built on the same values my dad taught me — pride in the work, care in every step, and making sure every job is done the right way.
Done right. No shortcuts. Just like the Dutch would do.
